I'm a tattooed, politically progressive, independent, Type A, recovering Borderline, who is a twice divorced, spicy-mouthed, non-religious, but spiritual and feral therapist.
We are in unprecedented times and are all in deep need of healing. My methods involve intuitive Mindfulness based therapy which include a mixture of extensive personal life experience and all the clinical stuff that makes me a safe space for others. I seek to cultivate an inviting and laid back experience where you never feel judged and always accepted and supported. I am no one to judge anyone, as I’ve probably done it myself.
I specialize in Borderline Personality Disorder and CPTSD (Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), from which I’ve spent much of my own life attempting to manage and heal. I understand the inside experience of Borderline/CPTSD and bring in accountability in a unique and successful way. I also specialize in depression, anxiety, divorce, and low self-esteem. It find great joy to uplift and motivate others to discover and reach their full potential.
Our sessions together will include somatic work, meditation, creative works, and life skills. I’m not super structured, but my clients find answers and relief in our work together most effectively when it feels like conversation. And when it’s time to work on trauma I allow the client to lead. I do not dig uninvited.
Overall, my clients leave our work together having found relief and as though valuable work has been accomplished. Therapy is something we can all use, but finding the right therapist can be a daunting journey. I encourage you to take on that journey as a way of honoring yourself. Perhaps I am the right fit for you at this time, and perhaps I’m not. But we will have open conversations around this to ensure you find the help you need.
I look forward to meeting you and helping facilitate your healing and finding your way through. Message me today!
